Everyone talks about planning, routes, and optimization. But rarely we talk about the smallest elements - the ones that are in direct contact with the cargo – the straps🚛🔍 It’s worth reviewing the latest update of the VDI 2700 lashing guideline \(Parts 8.0 & 8.1\) which is reshaping how we approach vehicle transport across Europe. Even the guidelines are formally non-binding, they increasingly define what “state-of-the-art” load securing looks like in practice. ➡️ Modern requirements go beyond basic lashing – they include defined performance parameters for straps \(e.g. DIN PN-EN 12195-2\), dynamic testing, and stricter specifications for equipment like wheel chocks and lashing points ➡️ New rules emphasize avoiding damage during transport – for example, preventing direct contact between webbing and tires and improving force distribution. ➡️ Following VDI guidelines creates a strong presumption that cargo securing is done correctly - even if not mandatory, it’s becoming a benchmark for quality and professionalism in vehicle logistics. ✅ Proper load securing is not just about avoiding penalties. Another week, another step forward! 🛣️ 🌎 We’re happy to share that some time ago we stepped confidently into the Swedish market and today we're proud to say that our presence there is growing stronger every day! New contracts signed, new lines launched and - as always - everything carefully coordinated behind the scenes. None of this would be possible without one of our secret weapons: a special team member who manages tickets for tunnels, ferries and bridges for us while keeping a very close eye especially on the timing!⏱️ Thanks to her daily support, our Swedish shipments run smoothly - and exactly the way we want - well organized and fully under control.
